Just wanted to send a few pictures of our girls on their second birthday. Tina was an excellent breeder and these girls came from a loving home. She helped us out so much. We had just lost our beloved Phoebe after 14 years and it was still fresh in our minds. We decided to get two sisters to double our pleasure. Tina kept our dogs a little longer because we had a vacation planned and never acted put out at all. Bella and Lacie have added so much joy to our lives each and every day Parents Are Jazzie & Romeo.
Peggy and Steve.
When I called about little "Macy" Tina Marie told me she was perfect in every way, and she was right. Macy is such a sweet natured little girl. She loves to be held and puts her head on our shoulder. She makes the cutest little squeak whenever she yawns. She has really bonded with my 12 year old Papillion "Millie". They snuggle for naps and do everything together, including playing stick and chasing squirrels. At 6 months she weighs just over 3 lbs. Tiny but full of energy.
Thanks Tina Marie
We live in New Albany, OH, have 5 children, ages 6,6,5,5, and 2. We knew we wanted a dog that would be great with the kids and come from a wonderful home. After some internet searching, we found Tina Maries website. I initially saw a picture of the litter of cockapoos and sent my husband an email with the photo. I told him how cute they were and he reminded me again, they need to be great with kids and from a wonderful home. We wanted to see our children interact with the puppies, too, since this was their first dog. Fortunately, we are only about hour from Newark so seeing the dogs in person would be simple. Tina Marie invited us into her home and let the kids play with the puppies in the kitchen. I LOVED how clean the dogs were and there was NO dog smell. I purposefully wore black pants because I dont like dog hair. As the children were playing with various puppies, I was too. Tina Marie answered all of our questions and we left with plenty to discuss. We all agreed that we loved the cockapoos the most. They are hypoallergenic, well-tempered and lets be honest, super cute! My pants didnt have any hair on them so the dogs passed that test, too. We decided on a female cockapoo. Annie, named after the main characters Jack and Annie in the Magic Tree House Books, arrived with a note from Santa Claus explaining this was an early Christmas present. Annie has been a member of the family ever since. She is great with our small children, loves to play and fetch and is a kind lap dog. We lucked out when we found Tina Marie as Annie is perfect!

Last year after researching Silky Terriers and deciding to add one to our family, I found Tina Marie's website. I immediately fell in love with Lady & Little Tykes Silky Terrier puppies that were born on Jan 26, 2011. Through several emails back and forth Tina Marie answered all our questions about the puppies. It was obvious how much she cared for her dogs by the way that she cautiously interviewed me to ensure the puppy would go to a loving home. In March my husband and I visited Tina Marie's home and met our new "fur-baby" Mr. Midge Mo-Hawk Blair, "Mo" for short :).......We needed to wait until May to pick up Mo and Tina Marie graciously agreed to keep him until then. Since we picked up Mo back in May he has solidified his place in our hearts. There isnt a day that goes by that we are not laughing and enjoying every minute with Mo. Mo has made his way into every Holiday get together and an extended family portrait this past year . When we arrive at our familys houses, we hear hi, where is Mo? and he is usually with us. At our vet clinic he has become true celebrity; bringing the employees out to greet, kiss and cuddle Mr. Mo. I joined a Silky Terrier group on Facebook with members from Germany, Poland and Australia, some are show dog owners, and they all rave about how gorgeous our Mo is. At 1 year old Mo now weighs 4lbs 12oz, has been extremely healthy and is super smart; Mo knows sit, lay down, shake, give me 5 and play dead. My only problem is that I cannot stop spoiling him with new toys, beds, coats, t-shirts, blankets, treats. You name it and Mo has it!! As you can see we even celebrated his 1 birthday a few weeks ago.
Hello Tina Marie,
We would like to thank you for allowing us to adopt Juicy. She is everything that you said she would be. She's smart, cuddly, playful, adorable, andnow spoiled. She weighs about 5 lbs. now, which is about where you said she would be. I also have 2 Jack Russell Terriers. Juicy is just as smart as they are, and she just loves playing and running around with them. She is a wonderful addition to our family, and has been a wonderful graduation gift for my daughter. Thank you again. It's been a pleasure talking to you, and hearing in your voice just how much you love your puppies, it made it easy to decide to purchase Juicy from you. If we decide to get another puppy, we will certainly contact you. Attatched Photo BelowIs Juicy

After 14 years of living with my beloved Casper The Friendly Maltese, he died in June. My home was so empty without him that I began searching for a reputable Maltese breeder. I love the non-shedding sweet Maltese breed. I knew I would never buy from a pet store, as many of them are rumored to purchase their puppies from puppy mills. I also knew I could not afford to nurse a rescue dog back to health or deal with one that may have been physiologically damaged. I simply wanted a happy, healthy puppy from a caring breeder who provides a clean environment for all of their dogs and puppies.
Fortunately for me, I found Tina Maries website. I called Marie and shared with her about my loss and what I was looking for in a puppy. She told me about her business, "DogTailsWaggin," about the home environment she raises her dogs in, and why she has chosen to breed and raise puppies. I was certain that I was not talking to the owner of a puppy mill. Marie provides reasonably priced, healthy companion pets, with a warranty, for people like me. Our conversation put me at ease and I decided to make an appointment to visit her in Newark, just a short, easy distance away.
Upon arrival to meet Marie and her puppies I could hear the excited puppies barking. I was greeted by Marie and her husband and saw many puppies loose within their home. I was amazed with the exceptionally clean environment. There were absolutely no dog odors within this home. Piddle pads were available for the puppies, and when soiled they were immediately removed. Marie explained that the pads are sterilized in the laundry.
The puppies, their parents, and other dogs were happily playing within the main areas of Maries home. You could tell they were family. I noticed they were all clean, well groomed, and loved very much. As Marie sat in her chair, she had at least five dogs on her lap. I was welcome to pick up and hold any and all of the dogs and puppies. I believe a dog will pick his/her person and it wasnt long until Friski (now known as Romeo) picked me. Friski had been on my lap or Maries the entire time I was there. Hence, the name Romeo, as he is a "little lover boy."
I was hesitant to take Friski home that day because I had an upcoming vacation planned. Marie to the rescue! She offered to care for him while I was gone! So, happily, I agreed to take Friski home. Marie put together a very nice care package, provided me with his medical records, a warranty, and everything I would need to ease his transition. Today, I can report that Romeo and I have bonded, he is healthy and happy and goes everywhere with me. Did I mention that Marie had also gotten him used to car travel? Well, she did and he is my little copilot! He is a sweet little guy and a real testament to the family care he received in Maries home.
Thanks Marie for my little Romeo and for all of the love you poured into him! I would absolutely refer you to anyone looking for a wonderful pet from an outstanding and reputable breeder!

When my Maltese of 14 years had passed away, I realized immediately that I had to get another one
As I was sad and empty inside, I began my search for a Maltese puppy the very next day.
One of the breeders that I contacted was located nearly 3 hours away from where I live in Pittsburgh, PA. This particular breeder spent a great deal of time on the phone with me and I had such a good feeling about her and her family of dogs and pups. This breeder was Tina Marie.
My husband and I decided to visit Tina Marie the following day. We were both impressed with how and where the dogs were housed. The dogs and pups were all in the main living areas of the home, and truly treated as part of her family!
All the dogs were very well behaved and it was so easy to see that they absolutely loved Tina Marie. They were clean and playful and very much socialized. Each and every one of the dogs came over to us and wanted to be pet or held. We wanted to take them all home. In addition, they were all trained to use the potty pads; even the youngest puppies!
It was tough to choose a pup, and although we wanted a Maltese, we decided upon a 10-week old Silkytese instead, that we named Madison. Tina Marie gave us a puppy care package to take with us; a variety of treats, Madison's favorite toy and a potty training pad. So worth the 3 hour drive!
My little darling, Maddie, is just precious. Beautiful eyes and facial features, and a gorgeous fur coat make her sparkle. Our vet gave her an A+ on overall health and condition! She is dainty but strong, and just so playful. Madison loves toys and is very willing to amuse herself. She very rarely barks, and from day one she has listened so well. Everyone who sees Madison, just falls in love with her and asks where we got her.
In addition to all else, this little girl is so intelligent; she actually reacts to my every word! She gets along very well with other dogs and she loves to be held. I can take her almost anywhere, as she loves car rides. All of these excellent qualities in Madison prove to me that she comes from quality lines of Maltese and Silky Terriers.
Needless to say, the way in which these dogs and pups are raised and cared for is certainly a positive reflection on Tina Marie, as the breeder and caretaker. I would never hesitate on getting another pup from Tina Marie or recommending her to my family and friends.
My Madison is six months old now, just returned from being spayed and is as active and as playful as ever. She loves to be brushed, bathed and doesn't fuss at all when getting her nails trimmed. She follows me everywhere. This baby is one happy camper!
Tina Marie and I have been keeping in touch through email and we've talked on the phone several times since bringing Madison home. It's nice to know that she is still very interested in hearing about Madison. That in itself gives me a warm feeling inside.
I could go on and on about Madison and the joy she brings to our lives. That said, I want to thank Tina Marie for all the love and care she gives her dogs and puppies before they go to their forever homes.
Attached are a few recent pictures of Kenai, along with a testimonial. What a character he is. Well loved too!

This past spring, I finally agreed, after 25 years of marriage, to get a dog. I love my sisters Maltese, but I did not want a Maltese. I found Tina Maries website. Her website did not make me feel like I was looking at a puppy mill website. One with a picture and a price. I emailed her. She immediately called me. We were on the phone for at least 45 minutes. I felt comfortable with Tina Marie. She told me Guardian was expecting Silkytese (Silky Terrier and Maltese mix) puppies the end of July. Throughout the summer, we stayed in touch. The puppies were born on July 31st. So fitting because my 13 years birthday is the 31st. We went to visit the puppies when they were 12 days old. We felt comfortable in Tina Maries home. You can tell her animals are well loved and adjusted. Jacob said he wanted the tri-colored male. While we were waiting to bring Kenai home, Tina Marie sent me weekly pictures. We picked him up when he was 8 weeks old. He sat comfortably for the first 2 hours of the trip. The last hour, he whimpered a little. As soon as we stopped, he went on the potty pad. Once he discovered the great outdoors, there was no going back to the potty pad. Kenai is an adventurer. I cannot say enough about the quality of Tina Maries puppies. Our little man is a healthy, well adjusted little critter. When the time comes to add another addition to our family, I will visit Tina Marie again.
Thank you! Mona Williams,
Thank you so much, he is absolutely precious and perfect. We had a great ride home and my son met us so he could meet him and fell in love. My husband adores him! He uses his potty pad like a pro!!! I am so impressed and he slept very well and made very little noise. We have been playing all morning and he is down for a nap!. He is ADORABLE!!!

Sabrina Marie is an amazing traveler. She sat quietly on my son's lap for four hours without a single complaint. Introducing her to my cat and dog went very well and we got the playpen and bed and pee pad all set up with food and water. She and my dog continued to get acquainted through the pen wall while Chris and I ate. I checked the pee pad before putting her to bed and it was wet!!!!! She is the most well adjusted puppy I have ever seen. But we do have to get through the first night yet. Wish us luck. I don't have to work till Wednesday so we will have plenty of time to get adjusted. Thanks for parting with your baby. We are off to a great start. Happy Easter. Marsha
3-6-10 Hi Tina,
"When my husband and I decided that we wanted a silky terrier (due to my allergies) we searched around Canada but we could find no one that had puppies at that time so we extended our search to North America and that's when we happened to fall upon Tina's website. It seemed only too fortunate to find that Tina had not one but two silky terriers that were old enough to be placed. Pups of Little Tyke and Lady were just too cute to decide which one to bring home and which one to leave behind (from the pictures that Tina sent to us). In the end my husband left Toronto, Ontario to take the drive to Ohio to pick up both brothers. He arrived home from his two day adventure with a dog in the palm of each hand. I'll never forget that visual! It was not difficult to get the dogs over the border if you follow the Canada Customs requirements. The only deterrent was a bit of a hold up at the border as EVERY customs agent had to come out to see my cute puppies! Having worked in a pet store many years ago I knew I did not want to purchase my dog from a pet store. They tend to inter-bred and you end up with a hyper dog with many medical concerns. I wanted to purchase my dog from a reputable dog breeder and Tina is certainly that. Our dogs are well adjusted, well behaved and very healthy. I am so happy that we have both brothers. They are each others best friends and it's so much fun watching them play together. Truly nothing but a joy!!!" you asked about Teddy's ears. There was a period of time, a few months I think, that one year was up and one down but that was just a growing pain
Hope all is well................Kathryn and Luis, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hello--let me introduce you to Li'l Miss Muffin, born July 4, 2009. Now, how I came upon finding her: My friends moved to Nashport, OH over a year ago. I wanted to get a puppy and noticed Tina Marie's ad in my newpaper and noticed she also lived in Nashport, OH. I liked the idea that I could go on her website and see for myself first what her dogs looked like, see the puppies availableand read other testimonials. I fell in love w/the little puppy w/the blue bow and thought oh, my gosh, I want one just like that one. And I wanted a female and if at all possible the runt of the litter. Tall order, you say. Not so. I called and talked to Tina and made a time to come visit her, as well as my friend. Tina is so very caring with her dogs; as she says they are her babies and that was truly apparent during our visit. I showed her the pic of the one I fell in love with on the website. Luck was with me or call it fate, because she had a litter of 3 Silkytese: a light beige male, a black female, and a multicolored beige female, born in that order. I fell in love w/Muffie the instant I saw her; she was absolutely gorgeous. You see, I have not had a dog for 23 yrs--I wanted to wait til a time in my life when I could devote most of my time to caring for a puppy. That time had come and I was so excited. Tina kept me updated on her progress through phone calls, emails w/pics and even took pics w/camera I left for her during the wait time til I could bring her home. I also visited her a couple times after that. The love of my life came home w/me on August 29, 2009. She loves to take rides in the car--she goes to work w/me on Wednesdays. She is so playful and has a boatload of toys and knows the stuffed animals all by name. I had no trouble teaching her what was hers and what was mine--she has the roam of the house even when I am not home. Yes, I have spoiled her, but she is the best-behaved puppy wherever we go. She has patterned what she does by watching what I do and she copies me. I will be going out of state in August and I will be boarding her at Tina's because she will be well-cared for while I'm gone. She is the highlight of my life andI have Tina to thank from the bottom of my heart. So please, if you are considering getting a puppy, talk to Tina and go visit her and see her puppies--they are the best and most well-cared for--you won't want to go elsewhere. Thank you, Tina. Your friend, Carol.

Hi Tina Marie,
Thought Id give you an update on Mason. Today is his first birthday and I have added a couple of his pictures for you to see. He is the sweetest little guy. He weighs just a little over 7 pounds. He is a healthy, rambunctious, fun little puppy and we dearly love him. Today we went to the pet store to pick out a new toy and buy some special treats for his birthday. I ran into two different people who said they have a Maltese and they just went on and on about Mason. They both asked me if he growls at people and I said no and they were surprised because theirs do. They also were surprised that he let them pet him. They thought he was very sweet-natured. See what good little dogs you have. J Just wanted you to know how much we love him, how much fun he is and that he is doing great. Thank you for such a sweet little guy. Jeannie Fagan
I just want you to know that Toby is wonderful!!! He had his first bath the
other day, oh what a beautiful boy he is!!! He is a true joy and he and
Gracee are getting along famously! She has taught him to go up the stairs,
and was trying tonight to teach him to go Down, but I retrieved him before
he gave this a go.
He is really good now about going to his potty pad, all by himself! He's a
smart one indeed!!! He loves to be told he's a good boy, it makes him ever
so happy and bouncy!
Toby is now a little over two pounds of wonderfulness. He is a little lover
and player. (he's on my lap right now snoozing) He has got his voice now,
and his little barker is adorable. He bounces around like crazy, jump,
jump, jump :)
I just want to thank you for loving him for us before we got him. We love
him so much, and Gracee is now glad she has a little brother! It's really
cute how they play. They both sleep with us, he wouldn't have it any other
way from the first night, and we have our own spots now.
He will go for his shots on Friday, our vet thinks he's a cutie too. She is
going to spread his shots out since he is so tiny.
When we are both gone, we put him in his crate and he seems to be fine
there, and we know he's safe. I don't know if we'll keep this up when he
grows up, but I do see where it's a good way to know he is safe. We don't
leave him in more than a couple of hours though. Just long enough to go to
church or run some errands.
I'm sending you some pics of him, please feel free to put them on your
Anyway, I just want to thank you for all the work you did to get Toby to us
safe and sound....I am happy to be a testimonial for you!

My husband and I lost our best friend, Buttons a Maltese, to a tragic accident. Shortly after, my husband just happen to see Tina's add and website. We were overjoyed with what we saw. When we spoke with Tina she was wonderful. That same day she allowed us to come meet Juliet, who was soon to give birth, and the father Rocky. They were beautiful, loving, and very affectionate. From there we fell in love and called Tina and her dogs a blessing. She kept us posted on everything that happened and called us shortly after the puppies were born. She let us come on weekly visits and spend as much time with the puppies we wanted. What an experience. Since then we got to bring our puppy home over Easter and named him Eli. He is beautiful, loving, and full of life. I thank Tina constantly for what she has given us. Eli came at a time when my husband and I most needed it. We will never forget our Buttons, but Eli has made our family complete. Thank you Tina and God Bless You!!

Just want you to know that Cookie is doing great. She is now over 6 months old. She has been spade and is now healed. She is such a joy to both of us and to our entire extended family. She is so smart. She learns quickly and is a good listener. She also loves to look out the window at all the squirrels!!
We adopted a new baby girl Maltese 01/26/2008.
Her name is Alyssa (Ali) Haven Brackman.

2-20-08 Testimonial: This past week I picked up my new Silky Terrier puppy from Tina. The whole process of buying my first dog seemed very confusing and worried me quite a bit. All of my doubts about finding the perfect dog ended when I started communicating with Tina after agreeing to purchase my new best friend from her. Tina stayed in constant contact with me for about 4 weeks before picking up my new puppy and she was always willing to give me updates, new pictures, and any advice that she could offer about my new Silky. When I finally got to pick up my new puppy, he was extremely healthy and mature for only being 8 weeks old. His training is coming along great and I could not be happier with the service that I was given by Tina. It was an extreme pleasure dealing with Dog Tails Waggin and I would recommend to ANYONE! Thanks again Tina!!

After having larger breeds and the loss of our very much loved lab 3 yrs ago we decided to search for a smaller breed for our daughters 13th birthday. Our main concerns in looking for a breed were that it be hypoallergenic, no shedding and low key. We came across Tina’s ad and gave her a call. She was very informative and helpful and invited us to come visit. The Silkytese puppies just born seemed to be the perfect dog for our needs. It took some time to choose a puppy because they were all adorable but Tina and family let us take as along as we needed. We couldn’t take Ellie home that day because she was only 3 weeks old but Tina kept in touch and updated us on her progress weekly until she was big enough to bring home. She was healthy and quite adorable at 11 oz. Our Ellie socializes very well with our cat and other family dogs that come to visit and she loves attention. She’s almost 5 months now and is just now going down the stairs and can even jump off the couch, esp. if it’s treat time! She’s very loving and playful and loves to cuddle and snuggle. She’s a perfect fit for us and we all love her very much, even my husband who was use to larger breeds has fallen in love with her.
